Kellie has lived and worked in the Biloela region for nearly 30 years, with administration roles including reception and accounts at John Deere (when it was Bruce Rhoades Group), as a bookkeeper for Power Bros, and as a private bookkeeper teaching Quickbooks and MYOB when the GST first came in. With nearly 10 years as a Business Studies teacher at CQ TAFE and CQUniversity, she now works as an electorate officer to the Federal Member. In her spare time she keeps the office running for Galaxy Equipment.
With coaching, fundraising and PR roles in several community organisations while her children played sport and attended the local schools, joining the Chamber of Commerce has proven to be useful to stay informed on what is happening in the region. Being on the committee as the Energy representative has natural synergies with her employment and makes sense as she was attending many of these meetings anyway. The opportunity to represent the Chamber is an important one, and she is dedicated to ensuring that the Biloela region is enhanced by these projects in the long-term.
